Its unique design was inspired by Sika-Designs own sketches from the 1950's and 60's.

The Michelangelo Exterior Day Bed is handcrafted from Alu-Rattan, a weatherproof powder coated aluminium and handwoven with Sika-Design ArtFibre^®, which is an extremely durable and weather-resistant material made of polyethylene. It can withstand heavy rain, very cold conditions and the sun's UV radiation and therefore be left outdoor all year round without compromising the design or quality. The combination of ArtFibre and aluminium gives the day bed a remarkable strength and comfort.
