The Teddy Exterior chair is a stylish and comfortable lounge chair designed by Viggo Boesen in 1936. He was considered one of Denmark's finest designers in the heyday of Danish design.
Teddy is Viggo Boesen's interpretation of the popular Ear Flap chair and was named Teddy because the design of the chair appealingly resembles a big teddy bear hug.
It is constructed from Alu-rattan, a weatherproof powder coated aluminium and handwoven with Sika-Design ArtFibre®, which is an extremely durable and weather-resistant material made of polyethylene. The Teddy Exterior Chair can withstand heavy rain, very cold conditions and the sun's UV radiation and therefore be left outdoor all year round without compromising the design or quality. The combination of ArtFibre and aluminium gives the chair a remarkable strength and comfort.
