Teddy Chair

The Teddy chair is a striking and comfortable rattan lounge chair designed by Viggo Boesen in 1936. He was considered one of Denmark's finest designers in the heyday of Danish design. 

Teddy is Viggo Boesen's interpretation of the popular Ear Flap chair and was named Teddy because the design of the chair appealingly resembles a big teddy bear hug. 

Perfect for curling up with a book during the day or a glass of wine in the evening the Teddy Chair will add a lovely relaxed charm to your home or holiday house.

Sika-Design uses carefully selected rattan for furniture production to ensure the highest quality. Rattan is often compared to bamboo, but unlike bamboo which is hollow, rattan is a solid material. Unique pieces of furniture are handcrafted by skilled wicker workers in environmentally sustainable rattan. Due to the remarkably strong and indestructible nature of rattan, many pieces are destined to last for generations.
