The Sofie Exterior Chair with its lightweight frame and weather resistant woven seat is as practical as it charming, an ideal blend of style, comfort and durability. It is inspired both by Sika-Design's own designs from the 1950s and by the classic woven bistro chairs that create a lovely joie de vivre throughout Paris.
Designed for cafés, restaurants and hotels the Sofie Exterior Chair is also a delightful addition for homes. Perfect on a patio, verandah or in the garden you can happily indulge in a cup of coffee or a delicious lunch with friends.
The frame is constructed from Alu-rattan, a weatherproof powder coated aluminium whilst the seat, uprights and back are handwoven with high quality Sika-Design ArtFibre® which is an extremely durable and weather-resistant material made of polyethylene. The Sofie Exterior Arm Chair can withstand the sun's UV, heavy rain and very cold conditions and therefore be left outdoor all year round without compromising the design or quality. The combination of ArtFibre® and aluminium gives the chair a unique strength, flexibility and comfort.
The Sofie Exterior Chair is stackable and also available in an indoor version.
