Simone Counter Stool

The Simone Counter Stool is part of Sika-Design's 'Affaire collection' which is a unique selection of charming bistro and cafe furniture inspired by both Sika-Design's own designs from the 1950s and the delightful cafe chairs seen throughout Paris. 

Perfect in both classic and contemporary settings the Simone Counter Stool will add a delightful element to many an interior space. Stackable and available in 3 different sizes you can create your own special look. Whilst the stool was created for indoor use it is also ideal for outdoor undercover areas. 

The Simone Counter Stool is handmade in sustainable Indonesian rattan by skilled wicker makers. The seat is handwoven with the high quality Sika-Design ArtFibre^?  which is available in a large selection of colours. ArtFibre consists of artificial fibres made from maintenance free poly-ethylene that can withstand the sun's UV radiation. The combination of rattan and ArtFibre gives the wicker furniture a unique strength, flexibility and comfort.

Sika-Design uses carefully selected rattan for furniture production to ensure the highest quality. Rattan is often compared to bamboo, but unlike bamboo which is hollow, rattan is a solid material. Due to the remarkably strong and indestructible nature of rattan, many pieces are destined to last for generations.

Maintenance: due to the rattan frame, the furniture needs to be kept dry, and can only be used outdoors in covered areas. Rattan and Sika-Design ArtFibre^? require no maintenance but can be wiped with a lightly dampened cloth.
