Rossini Arm Chair Exterior

The Rossini Armchair, often referred to as the, 'Signature Chair' of Sika-Design is the brand's most iconic and popular piece. Elegant and classic it features an intricately woven rattan design on the seat and backrest handwoven by skilled wicker makers.

Designed in a collaboration between Knud Andreasen, (2nd generation family member) and the famous Japanese designer Yamakawa in 1993 it forms part of the Original's collection. 

Now available in an exterior version, the Rossini Exterior Armchair has a lightness and elegance which lends itself to most outdoor styles from classic to contemporary. It creates a delightful ambience and stunning effect when wining and dining on patios, balconies and verandahs. Combined with its comfort and sturdiness it is also immensely popular with restaurants and hotels globally.

It is constructed from Alu-rattan, a weatherproof powder coated aluminium and handwoven with Sika-Design ArtFibre^®, which is an extremely durable and weather-resistant material made of polyethylene. The Rossini Exterior Armchair can withstand heavy rain, very cold conditions and the sun's UV radiation and therefore be left outdoor all year round without compromising the design or quality. The combination of ArtFibre and aluminium gives the chair a remarkable strength and comfort.
