Nanna Ditzel Hanging Egg Chair

The Hanging Egg Chair is an iconic chair, designed by Nanna and Jorgen Ditzel in 1959. It is ideal for rooms with high ceilings where there is plenty of air and space for the stunning Egg Chair design to come into its own. It can be hung either by chain directly in the ceiling or from a stand (both to be purchased separately.)

It is handmade from carefully selected rattan of the highest quality by skilled wicker makers. Environmentally sustainable, rattan is a remarkably strong and indestructible material and thus the Hanging Egg is a unique piece of furniture capable of lasting for generations.

Maintenance: rattan requires no maintenance and can be cleaned with a lightly dampened cloth if required.
