The Michelangelo is an elegantly curved, rattan daybed which brings a luxurious and relaxing element to a hotel spa or tranquil area within your home or beach house.
Sika-Design uses carefully selected Indonesian rattan, handcrafted by skilled wicker workers for the Michelangelo Day Bed to ensure the highest quality. Rattan is one of the world's most sustainable materials for furniture production. Rattan is often compared to bamboo, but unlike bamboo which is hollow, rattan is a solid material.
Due to the remarkably strong and indestructible nature of rattan, many pieces are destined to last for generations.
The Michelangelo's unique design was inspired by Sika-Designs own sketches from the 1950's and 60's and forms part of the Sika-Design Originals collection.
