The Madeleine Arm Chair is part of Sika-Design's 'Affaire collection' which is a unique selection of charming bistro and cafe furniture inspired by both Sika-Design's own designs from the 1950s and the delightful woven bistro chairs seen throughout Paris. 

A modern rattan classic which is absolutely perfect for cafes, restaurants and hotels it has a beautifully shaped armrest and wide seat for extra support and comfort to satisfy the fussiest of diners. 

The Madeleine Arm Chair is handmade in sustainable Indonesian rattan by skilled wicker makers. The seat, back and arms are woven with the high quality Sika-Design ArtFibre®  which is available in a large selection of colours. ArtFibre® consists of artificial fibres made from maintenance free poly-ethylene that can withstand the sun's UV radiation, heavy rain and very cold conditions and therefore be left outdoor all year round without compromising the design or quality. The combination of rattan and ArtFibre® gives the wicker furniture a unique strength, flexibility and comfort. 

Sika-Design uses carefully selected rattan for furniture production to ensure the highest quality. Rattan is often compared to bamboo, but unlike bamboo which is hollow, rattan is a solid material. Due to the remarkably strong and indestructible nature of rattan, many pieces are destined to last for generations.

Whilst the chair is made for indoor use it can be used outdoors in covered areas but should not be exposed to rain and moisture.
