The Funky Dining Chair is a striking chair, perfect for one who loves elegant lines. It was designed in 1996 by Yuzuru Yamakawa, a famous Japanese designer, known for his great passion for rattan. The eye-catching frame is made of steel that has been hand-woven with sustainable Indonesian rattan.
Yamakawa was famous for merging the elegant lines from Japan with the traditional craftsmanship of Indonesia. His iconic designs continue to be recognised for their beautiful lines and their emphasis on ergonomics.
The Rap dining chair is part of Sika-Design's exclusive ICONS collection which represents an exclusive range of rattan furniture created by some of the world's most renowned designers and architects.
